Georgios Makropoulos’u Saygıyla Anıyoruz

Uluslararası satranç camiasının önemli isimlerinden; Uluslararası Usta (IM), 7 kez Yunanistan Şampiyonu, Yunanistan Satranç Federasyonu Onursal Başkanı ve FIDE Eski Başkan Yardımcısı Georgios Makropoulos’un hayatını kaybettiğini üzüntüyle öğrenmiş bulunuyoruz.

Satranç sporuna uzun yıllar hizmet eden Makropoulos, Yunanistan Satranç Federasyonu ve FIDE bünyesinde üstlendiği görevlerle satrancın gelişimine değerli katkılarda bulunmuştur.

Türkiye Satranç Federasyonu olarak Sayın Makropoulos’un ailesine, yakınlarına ve satranç camiasına başsağlığı diliyoruz.

Remembering Georgios Makropoulos with Respect

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Georgios Makropoulos, an International Master (IM), seven-time Greek Champion, Honorary President of the Greek Chess Federation, and former FIDE Deputy President.

Makropoulos dedicated many years to the development of chess and made valuable contributions to the game through his roles within the Greek Chess Federation and FIDE.

As the Turkish Chess Federation, we extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Makropoulos’s family, loved ones, and the entire chess community.
