ChessBase, one of the most popular chess news websites and the German-based software company published a report on the Turkish Chess Federation Elections which are going to be on November 8.
The two tickets running are the ones by the incumbent president Ali Nihat Yazıcı who has been in office since 2000 while the other candidate is Veli Ozan Çakır working in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Ltd. and Turkish Football Federation who has been working as one of the organizers of Istanbul Open. His ticket also includes GM Suat Atalık.
